For Technical Directors

You wrote the philosophy. Forma makes it the club's daily reality.

You are accountable for how the club plays and how its players develop, usually across more teams than you can watch. Forma gives you a way to lead that work rather than chase it.

The job

The three questions you cannot currently answer

  • Is the methodology being coached?

Not whether coaches agree with it — whether it appears in this week's sessions across every age group.

  • Are players actually developing?

Beyond results and impressions, against the specific behaviours your model defines.

  • Where should I spend my week?

With limited hours, which age group, which coach, which theme deserves your attention right now.

What changes

What Forma gives you

  • A methodology that reaches the pitch

Your model becomes the structure sessions, observations and development plans are built from — not a document coaches skim once.

  • Evidence instead of anecdote

Observations captured by coaches in the moment, aggregated into signals with the underlying evidence one click away.

  • A weekly rhythm

The technical brief gives you a short, written read on the academy's week before your staff meeting.

  • Answers on demand

Ask the AI Technical Director a question about your club and get a response grounded in your own methodology and evidence.

Control

Nothing enters the club record without you

Methodology changes require technical approval. AI drafts — sessions, development plans, briefs — are drafts until a person accepts them. Roles are enforced in the database, not just hidden in the interface.

This matters because a technical director's authority is the thing that makes a methodology cohere. Forma is designed to concentrate that authority, not dilute it.

Getting started

What the first season looks like

You start by bringing in the documents you already have, and reviewing the methodology Forma structures from them. Then you set up curricula for your age groups, and coaches begin planning sessions against them.

Evidence accumulates from the first weeks of training. The intelligence layer becomes genuinely useful once there is a body of observation behind it — which is why capture is designed to take seconds on a phone, not an evening at a laptop.

Talk it through

See it against your own club

Most technical directors want to see the dashboard and the methodology screens before anything else. Book a demo and we will walk through it with your age groups, your methodology and your season in mind.

Next step

Lead the technical department with evidence

Bring your playing model to the demo and we will work from it.
